The collaboration between Marcello Ziliani, renowned Italian designer of chairs and furniture items, and Mara began in 2021, when the company decided to expand its collection of seating, with the aim of responding to the growing demands of an international clientele.

For Ziliani, designing a new product is a process that combines research, originality and innovation, giving life to solutions that perfectly integrate design and functionality.

My feeling from the very beginning was that I was dealing with a reality with a strong capacity for innovation but with a very important characteristic: that of being able to introduce silent, not shouted, not exhibited innovations.
And I believe that this is an extremely interesting and very sophisticated characteristic.
