Mara’s innovative design and quality have been recognized and honored with the most important award conferred by the German Design Council.
Three products from the Mara collection are winners of the German Design Award 2025, the most important award given by the German Design Council: an annual competition initiated by the German Bundestag in 1953. The German Design Award is one of the world’s most renowned design awards that recognizes outstanding and exemplary design achievements in a variety of industries.
Winner with the “Gold” title in the “Excellent Product Design – Furniture” category is the TYPO seat designed by AMDL CIRCLE, the studio founded by architect Michele De Lucchi.
The “Gold” award from the German Design Awards is the highest honor for an excellent, holistic, innovative design product.
The ICON HIGH BACK chair designed by Marcello Ziliani also wins in the “Excellent Product Design – Furniture” category.
Also winning in the “Excellent Product Design – Office Furniture” category is FOIL, the collection of tables with ultra-thin thicknesses and minimal design, designed by Christophe Pillet.
The German Design Award ceremony will take place on February 7, 2025 in Frankfurt.
