Typo is the Mara chair signed by AMDL CIRCLE, the studio founded by architect Michele De Lucchi. Typo, as a typing error, almost an accidental mistake. The nature of this piece of furniture is the result of a calibrated experimentation, and what could appear at first sight as a defect is actually the distinctive feature of its design.
The square section metal tubing that gives shape to the structure is characteristic, in a play of folds and drapes that highlights Mara’s expertise in metal processing.
Soft lines design the backrest and seat, both in wood, and counterbalance the vigorous angularity of the metal structure, giving shape to a composition with a dynamic silhouette, a synthesis of contrasts – not only in terms of lines but also of materials.
