Two installations in the historic Piazza della Libertà tell the human value at the heart of the project.
From 12 to 15 June 2025, selected Mara products will be among the highlights of the second edition of the Ostuni Design Week-end, an event that brings design culture to the heart of the “White City” and is establishing itself as one of the most original and engaging events on the Italian scene.
The event will take place in the evocative Piazza della Libertà, the city’s vibrant heart and a stage for installations, talks, and moments of exchange among designers, companies, institutions, and design enthusiasts.
In line with this year’s theme, “Cultivating Relationships”, MARA will take part with two micro-installations designed to transform the public space into an environment for connection and dialogue.
At the heart of these relational spaces will be some emblematic products from our outdoor collection: the Simple Metal chairs, presented in various colors to create welcoming and visually dynamic atmospheres, and the Typo side tables, designed by AMDL CIRCLE, the studio founded by Michele De Lucchi, conceived to encourage meeting and sharing.
These micro-environments, contemporary evolutions of the Existenz Minimum, are designed to accommodate at least two people and offer them a moment of authentic connection, guided by beauty and functionality.
The Ostuni Design Week-end is not just a design showcase, but a platform for connections, experiences, and reflection. For MARA, taking part means advancing a design vision that places innovation, sustainability, and the ability of design to enhance the quality of human relationships in the spaces we inhabit at its core.
Four days of inspiration, design thinking, and conviviality will come to life in Ostuni, within the setting of one of the most significant events on the Italian creative scene.
