Mara presents Typo Lounge Chair & Ottoman design AMDL Circle
Typo Lounge Chair is the new chair designed by Mara, created by AMDL CIRCLE, the studio founded by architect Michele De Lucchi.
Distinctive is the square-section metal tube that shapes the structure, in a play of folds and drapes that highlights the company’s expertise in metalworking.

The tube, worked and folded with precision, transforms into a distinctive graphic feature: a sequence of modernist lines that supports the backrest and the ample seat, culminating in a crossed base with a strong visual impact. The soft padding amplifies the sense of comfort, transforming the new Typo Lounge into an ideal piece of furniture for moments of relaxation and well-being.
To complete the experience, the pouf-ottoman, in the padded version.
Since its debut, Typo has won over the public, receiving several international awards, including the German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design – Furniture category. Now, this new version, is already becoming a contemporary icon destined for the most varied contexts – from the workspace to hospitality to residential – with its unchanged character.

We have invented this crazy, atrocious, unthinkable way of bending a tube because no one would have thought of bending a tube the wrong way. It is precisely by experimenting with what we always consider to be on the wrong side of things that we can invent new things. Because habits are the great danger in a moment when everything is changing”
