Elle Boxes & Elle Wardrobe, design Ferruccio Laviani

The evolution of Elle is moving towards a more comprehensive and sophisticated system in which, thanks to the introduction of integrated storage units and accessories — such as internal dividers, pull-out drawers, storage elements and modules designed for functional organisation — the bookcase expands its role from a simple organisational structure to a true element of domestic architecture.

These new elements are not conceived as additions, but as natural extensions of the original design, allowing Elle to integrate storage, enclosure and organisation, whilst retaining its essential and rigorous identity.

Elle Wardrobe embodies the essence and functionality of a hanging rail unit, designed to function both as a standalone piece and in combination with other components of the system. Just a few elements are enough to transform it into a structure dedicated to clothing, underscoring once again that Elle is not a bookcase, but an open and versatile system, capable of adapting to different contexts and functions whilst always retaining its own identity.

I wasn’t interested in simply addingaccessories, but in creating a complete system. With the introduction of the Elle storage units, it becomes a system more in tune with everyday life, where, alongside what is on display, there is finally space for what you want to keep out of sight
