The project for the renovation of the school was carried out by the Turin-based architecture and design firms Archisbang and Areaprogetti, promoted and supported by the Agnelli Foundation and the Compagnia di San Paolo, in collaboration with the City of Turin and the Fondazione per la Scuola, within the framework of the Torino fa Scuola project, dedicated to the renewal of the learning spaces of the Enrico Fermi and Giovanni Pascoli schools.
The Pascoli school, in the Cit Turin district, is conceived as a dynamic educational space where to foster interconnections between students so that teaching becomes an active and modern experience, based on quality and well-being standards, to be lived not only in the ‘classic classroom’ but in all corners of the school.

A “futuristic” project that stems from a cultural, pedagogical and architectural reflection on the new learning spaces that the Italian school needs. Torino fa Scuola not only set the goal of deeply renovating the school, but also of proposing a model for the modernization of the school building heritage that can be replicated throughout the country.
